Discovery Channel Grabs #1 in Both Persons 25-54 and Persons 18-49 on Cable for the Week

DISCOVERY CHANNEL GRABS #1 IN BOTH PERSONS 25-54 AND PERSONS 18-49 ON CABLE FOR THE WEEK

After securing its biggest quarter in the history of the network in demos that included Persons 25-54 during 1Q15, Discovery Channel continues its ratings wins into 2Q15 Prime Time by being #1 in all of cable in the highly prized Persons 25-54 and Persons 18-49 demos in Prime Time during a very competitive week, April 13-19 in L+3. This marks the first time this year Discovery Channel has been #1 in these demos; most recently it happened during Shark Week 2014.

In Persons 25-54 Discovery moved up 5 positions in the ranker vs. the same week in 2014 to #1, in Persons 18-49 Discovery moved up seven positions the ranker vs. the same week in 2014 to #1. Discovery was also #1 in Men 25-54 for the week, moving up three positions vs. vs. the same week in 2014.

Discovery Channel's top three programs for April 13-19 in both Persons 25-54/18-49 were DEADLIEST CATCH (#1), NAKED AND AFRAID (#2) and FAST N' LOUD (#3):

· DEADLIEST CATCH: Persons 25-54 - 2.51 rating (2,442,000); Persons 18-49 - 1.97 rating (2,016,000)

· NAKED AND AFRAID: Persons 25-54 - 2.20 rating (2,138,000); Persons 18-49 - 1.85 rating (1,889,000)

· FAST N' LOUD: Persons 25-54 - 1.55 rating (1,508,000); Persons 18-49 1.28 rating - (1,312,000)
