Turner Broadcasting Networks Scores Two of the Top 3 Spots with Adults 18-49 in Primetime for the Week of April 6

TNT

Last week, NBA on TNT's playoff coverage delivered cable's most-watched programming of the night five times during the week of April 20. The coverage averaged a 2.2 U.S. household rating and 3.3 million total viewers across the network's six nights of live game action (Monday, April 20 - Sunday, April 26).

TNT's spring launch of Cold Justice garnered a combined audience of 2.4 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its April 10 premiere and encore. The show also drew 1.0 million adults 25-54 and 829,000 adults 18-49. Across TNT's television, digital and mobile platforms, the spring premiere of Cold Justice has reached 4.3 million viewers.

Cartoon Network

For the third week in a row, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network in total day ay delivery (6a-8p) of kids and boys 6-11, while also claiming #1 among kids and boys 9-14. Total day delivery charted significant double-digit gains, with kids 2-11 up by +44%, kids 6-11 by +66% and kids 9-14 by +58%.

Cartoon Network Studios original series Clarence premiered Monday through Friday at 5p and ranked as the #1 program in its time period across the week with all key kids and boys, while charting year-over-year double-digit delivery gains between +31% and +58% among all targeted demos.

Cartoon Network was television's #1 destination for all key kids and boys on Thursday night. Thursday's premiere of Teen Titans Go! (6p) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 6-11. All Thursday night premieres grew by double and triple-digits and ranked #1 in their timeslots across all key demos.

Cartoon Network programming accounted for nine of the Top 10 telecasts of the week and 44 of the Top 50 among boys 6-11.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim ranked as basic cable's #1 network in Total Day delivery among adults and men 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49.

Childrens Hospital (Friday, midnight) ranked as basic cable's #1 program in its timeslot among adults 18-24,18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-34 & 18-49. The telecast charted double-digit delivery gains vs. the prior week's premiere among all key adults and men.

Sunday's telecast of China IL (11:30p) ranked as basic cable's #1 program in its time period among all adults 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49 and men 18-24.

TBS

The launch of TBS's new comedy Your Family Or Mine garnered a combined audience of 2.7 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its April 7 premiere and encores. In key demos, the show drew 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 581,000 adults 18-34. Across TBS's television, digital and mobile platforms, Your Family Or Mine has reached 5.2 million viewers for its series premiere.

The April 10 episode of TBS's new series Meet the Smiths garnered a combined audience of 1.6 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery (+3% vs. the series launch) for its premiere and weekend encores. The show also delivered 820,000 adults 18-49.

truTV

truTV primetime earned a median age of 37 for the week of April 6, three years younger than the same week a year ago.

truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers continues to perform well, delivering 1.7 million viewers and garnering a Top 5 ranking among ad-supported cable programs in its timeslot with adults 18-49, adults 18-34, men 18-49, men 18-34 and women 18-49. The show also finished in the Top 10 in its timeslot among total viewers and women 18-34.
