"Mysteries of Laura" Captures Its Top Results Since February 25
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, May 20.

'MYSTERIES OF LAURA' CAPTURES ITS TOP RESULTS SINCE FEB. 25

'SVU' AND 'CHICAGO P.D.' RANK #2 IN THEIR SLOTS AMONG THE BIG 4 IN TOTAL VIEWERS

Wednesday Primetime Results:

· "The Mysteries of Laura" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) captured its highest results in 18-49 and total viewers since Feb. 25 (1.4 in 18-49, 7.630 million in total viewers, featuring guest star Eric McCormack). Excluding that Feb. 25 telecast, last night's "Laura" season finale matched the show's 18-49 high since Jan. 7 (1.3) and delivered its biggest overall audience since Dec. 10 (8.1 million).

· "The Mysteries of Laura" grew week to week for a second straight week in 18-49, up versus the prior week by +10% (1.1 vs. 1.0) and up versus the week before that by +22% (1.1 vs. 0.9). "Laura" also increased week to week for a second week in a row in total viewers, up versus the previous week by +18% (7.256 million vs. 6.173 million) and up versus the week before that by +20% (7.256 million vs. 6.038 million).

· "The Mysteries of Laura" will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- "The Mysteries of Laura" originals are growing by +33% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.25 to a 1.66) and 1.8 million viewers overall (7.6 million to 9.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) delivered its most-watched edition, excluding the April 29 crossover episode, since April 8 (7.307 million). Facing special competition from CBS's "Survivor" finale, "SVU" ranked #2 in the hour among the Big 4 networks in total viewers.

· "Law & Order: SVU" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- "SVU" originals this season are increasing by +70% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.64 to a 2.79) and 3.0 million viewers overall (7.4 million to 10.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· "Chicago P.D." (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) delivered its most-watched telecast, excluding the April 29 crossover episode, since Feb. 25 (7.434 million). Facing special competition from the "Survivor" finale and reunion special plus ABC's season premiere of "Celebrity Wife Swap," "Chicago P.D." ranked #2 in the hour among the Big 4 networks in total viewers and #1 among women 18-34 (with a 1.4 rating).

· "Chicago P.D." retained 100% of its lead-in from "SVU" in 18-49 and 99% in total viewers.

· "Chicago P.D." will increase substantially via time shifting -- "Chicago P.D." originals are growing by +69% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.59 to a 2.68) and 3.3 million viewers overall (7.1 million to 10.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 9.3/24; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/3 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 2.8/14; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.8/2 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/3 in metered-market households) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (2.6/10, delayed by a "Late Show" overrun). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) trailed "Late Late Show" (0.8/6 delayed by a "Late Show" overrun).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
