ABC's Kimmel Builds to 4-Week Highs - Finishes 2014-15 with its Most-Watched Season Ever

Some early points on Jimmy Kimmel Live's numbers, ahead of the regular press release:

During the week of May 18, 2015, which included the final 3 days of the broadcast season, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live shot up by double-digits week to week (despite airing against the final week of CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman), growing by 25% in Total Viewers (2.519 million) and by 22% in Adults 18-49 (798,000) to hit 4-week highs - since the week of 4/20/15. Meanwhile, NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon fell to a 5-week low among young adults (1.154 million) - since a week of repeats on the week of 4/13/05.

During the 2014-15 broadcast season (Sep-May), ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live posted its 5th consecutive season of growth in Total Viewers (+1%) to deliver its most-watched season ever (2.701 million).

· Kimmel finished the season as the #2 broadcast talk show in late-night in Adults 18-49 (802,000), leading CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman (+13%) for the 2nd season in a row.

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of May 18, 2015, ABC soared over the prior week by 19% in Total Viewers (2.147 million vs. 1.800 million) and by 18% in Adults 18-49 (689,000 vs. 583,000) to deliver its best performance in late-night in 4 weeks - since the week of 4/20/15.

· ABC was the week's 2nd-most-watched network in late-night (behind CBS with the finale-week of "The Late Show with David Letterman"), outdrawing NBC by 13% (2.147 million vs. 1.898 million).

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)

"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)

ABC's "Nightline" averaged 1.513 million Total Viewers, 605,000 Adults 25-54 and 504,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of May 18, 2015. "Nightline" led NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.364 million) by 149,000 Total Viewers.

"Nightline" posted double-digit, week-to-week increases (1.380 million, 546,000, and 444,000, respectively, on w/o 5/11/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+10%), Adults 25-54 (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+14%).
