Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Tops Viewers, Demos with U.S. Open

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/21/15):

FOX (7.857 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) staked its claim for the top spot on Sunday with the primetime portion of its "115th U.S. Open Championship" (7.857 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3) coverage.

ABC (5.190 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then claimed the silver with a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.037 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) followed by the respective premieres of "Celebrity Family Feud" (8.530 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) and "BattleBots" (5.387 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) plus a repeat "Castle" (2.804 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

Next up was NBC (3.043 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its mix of "Dateline NBC" (3.150 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Dateline NBC: My Kid Would Never Do That" (3.300 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), the season finale of "AD: The Bible Continues" (3.493 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "American Odyssey" (2.230 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

And finally, repeats of "60 Minutes" (5.912 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Madam Secretary" (3.745 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "The Good Wife" (2.960 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (4.208 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) on CBS (4.206 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) closed out the evening.

NBC (5.352 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) claimed the top spot on Sunday thanks to a rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.705 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8) followed by a new two-hour "America's Got Talent" (7.998 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1).

ABC (4.269 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was a close second with the respective two-hour premieres of "Wipeout" (3.517 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6) and "Rising Star" (5.022 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2).

Next up was FOX (1.877 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with the departing "Enlisted" (0.941 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) alongside repeats of "American Dad" (1.014 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "The Simpsons" (2.069 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7), another "The Simpsons" (2.410 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4), "Family Guy" (2.559 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and "American Dad" (2.266 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5).

And finally, CBS (4.235 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) closed out the evening with its all-repeat lineup of "60 Minutes" (6.532 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), "Elementary" (3.285 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13), "The Good Wife" (3.061 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "The Mentalist" (4.060 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).
