Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS, FOX & NBC All Share Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/1/15):

CBS (5.551 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) was the most-watched network on Wednesday with a new "Big Brother 17" (5.836 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) followed by a repeat "Criminal Minds" (5.644 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6) and the return of "Extant" (5.173 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

NBC (4.680 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with encores of "America's Got Talent" (5.351 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) and "American Ninja Warrior" (4.344 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3).

Next up was FOX (3.562 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) with originals from "MasterChef" (4.301 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and "Bullseye" (2.823 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.235 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up repeats of "The Middle" (3.832 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "The Goldbergs" (3.170 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "Modern Family" (3.682 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5) and "Black-ish" (2.890 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) plus a new "Celebrity Wife Swap" (2.919 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #8).

And finally, repeats of "Arrow" (1.094 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and "Supernatural" (1.090 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) on The CW (1.092 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.2 rating while the latter posted a 0.2 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/3 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

FOX (3.985 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) claimed top honors on Wednesday thanks to a new "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.985 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3).

NBC (6.019 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) then split the gold with a repeat of "America's Got Talent" (6.345 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and a new "Taxi Brooklyn" (5.367 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4).

Next up was CBS (4.478 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with its mix of "Big Brother 16" (5.609 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1), "Under the Dome" (3.295 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (4.530 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9).
