Network's Sept. 16 Season Finales Take Top Primetime Spots: "Hollywood Divas" # 1 Original Telecast at 9 p.m. ET; "Born Again Virgin" #1 Original Telecast at 10 p.m. ET; "Unsung" # 2 Original Telecast (behind Republican debate) at 8 p.m. ET

SILVER SPRING, MD. - SEPT. 21, 2015 - TV One announced today it has ranked as a Top 3 Ad-Supported Cable Network among Black 25-54 for the past 11 consecutive Wednesday night primetime (8-11 p.m. ET) slots. The network's Wednesday, Sept. 16, line-up of original programming fare finales - Unsung, Hollywood Divas and Born Again Virgin - also reached 1.6 million unique Black viewers 2+.

"We're pleased that we were able to leverage the 41% season-to-season growth of Unsung and the 12% season-to-season growth of Hollywood Divas to successfully launch our first single-camera scripted comedy, Born Again Virgin," said Brad Siegel, President of TV One. "Moreover, it's rewarding to see that our consecutive three-hours of original programming on Wednesdays, along with our increased marketing and social media efforts, are resulting in a positive viewer response."

Contributing to the Sept. 16 success was the network's premiere of Hollywood Divas: Reunion Part 2 (9-10 p.m. ET), the docu-reality series' second episode of its second season two-part finale, which landed the No. 1 original telecast on Cable at 9 p.m. ET that evening among key Black demos: W25-54 (4.49, 256K), P25-54 (3.20, 318K) and P18-49 (2.59, 286K). In addition, Unsung'smid-season finale featuring YoYo secured the No. 2 original telecast on Cable at 8 p.m. ET among Black HHLDS (5.63, 500K), W25-54 (5.33, 305K), P25-54 (4.18, 415K), W18-49 (3.86, 240K), P18-49 (3.10, 343K) and P2+ (2.45, 588K); behind CNN's Reagan GOP Debate. Closing out the night, TV One's newest comedy Born Again Virgin grabbed the Top 2 original telecast slots in the 10 p.m. ET hour among Black P25-54 (Episode 109 ranked No. 1 and Episode 112 ranked No. 2).

TV One's Wednesday night original programming continues with the mid-season premiere ofthe award-winning series Unsung on Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET. The rest of the eighth season features a new line-up of incredible talents - KC and The Sunshine Band, Kashif, Chante Moore, H-Town, Jennifer Holliday and Nate Dogg - whose poignant stories offer insight into their trials and tribulations faced both in private and public forums.
