"Blindspot" Retains 84% of Last Week's Premiere Rating
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, September 28.

Monday Primetime Results:

NBC dominated the night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks, winning by a +58% margin, and ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key measure.

Note that ABC stations carried NFL football in the Kansas City and Milwaukee markets.

"Blindspot" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 9.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Retains 84% of last week's premiere rating (2.6 vs. 3.1), the best Week 1 to Week 2 retention among Monday's three new shows - versus 77% for "Life in Pieces" (2.0 vs. 2.6) and 82% for "Minority Report" (0.9 vs. 1.1).

· Won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure.

· Led the slot by a +63% margin among those nets (2.6 vs. 1.6 for #2 CBS).

· Is the night's #1 drama, new or returning, in 18-49.

· Note that the week-ago 3.1 for "Blindspot was:

· A two-year high for an NBC debut.

· The #1 new series of the week.

· "Blindspot" delivers heavy time-shifting: Last week's "Blindspot" hit a three-year high for biggest increase in L+3 results for an NBC series premiere (+1.34 in 18-49, from 3.11 to 4.45).

"The Voice" (3.3/10 in 18-49, 11.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Won the slot among the Big 4 nets in every key measure - including total-viewer wins over ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and CBS's scripted lineup.

· Jumped +32% versus what the prior cycle was averaging in last May's sweep (3.3 vs. 2.5) and was up +13% in total viewers (11.832 million vs. 10.440 million), despite last night's competition from CBS's "Big Bang Theory" and ESPN's NFL football.

· Retained 94% of last week's season premiere rating in 18-49 (3.3 vs. 3.5).

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - last season's Monday "Voice" grew +25% in 18-49 rating (from a 3.22 to a 4.01) going from L+SD to L+7 and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.9 million to 14.0 million).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.8/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.7/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/3).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
