Friday Primetime Results
The third season debut of "Undateable" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Matches NBC's top 18-49 rating in the time period in the last 18 weeks (since a 1.0 with "Jurassic Park" on June 5).
· Is up +14% in 18-49 versus the prior "Undateable" that did not have a "Voice lead-in (0.7 for the show's first season finale on Thursday, July 3, 2014) and is up +28% in total viewers (2.561 million vs. 1.993 million).
· With a live telecast, maintained its full rating half-hour to half-hour in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 18-34; and adults 25-54.
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):
· Grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by +17% in adults 25-54 (from a 1.2 to a 1.4) and +33% in men 25-54 (0.9 to 1.2).
· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., tied ABC's "20/20" in adults 25-54 (1.4 rating each) and topped "20/20" in men 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.0).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - last season, Friday's "Dateline" increased by +25% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.16 to a 1.44) and 967,000 viewers overall (5.7 million to 6.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
