Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Viewers, Demos with "Sunday Night Football"

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/18/15):

NBC (17.005 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.0, #1) was of course the network to beat on Sunday with its mainstays "Football Night in America #1" (6.933 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.0, #7), "Football Night in America #2" (8.543 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.8, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (15.911 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 5.6, #4) and "Sunday Night Football" (20.930 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 7.5, #1).

CBS (13.160 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) then claimed a distant second place with its combination of "CBS NFL Sunday" (21.692 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.1, #3), "NFL Overrun" (23.365 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.3, #2) and delayed editions of "60 Minutes" (13.548 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.3, #6), "Madam Secretary" (9.131 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T13) and "The Good Wife" (7.431 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T16).

Next up was FOX (3.096 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and its lineup of "NFL Overrun" (5.217 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #8), a repeat "The Simpsons" (2.628 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T13) and new episodes of "The Simpsons" (3.630 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T9), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.551 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.2, #12), a special "Bob's Burgers" (2.230 million viewers, #19; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T16) and "The Last Man on Earth" (2.318 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T13).
