"PROJECT RUNWAY" REACHES SEASON HIGHS
Last night's episode of Project Runway (#ProjectRunway) reached season highs across all key demographics, according to Nielsen Research. Currently in its 14th season, the Emmy(R) Award nominated series featuring host Heidi Klum and co-host and mentor Tim Gunn sewed up 2.5 million Total Viewers, 1.1 million Adults 25-54 (making it the number one non-sports cable telecast of the night in the demo for the third straight week) and 972,000 Adults 18-49. Project Runway's two-part season 14 finale will air next Thursday, October 29th, and on November 5th, at 9:00pm ET/PT.
Hosted by supermodel, fashion maven and Emmy(R) Award winner Klum, Project Runway provides budding designers with an opportunity to launch their careers in fashion, under the watchful eyes of mentor, co-host and Emmy Award winner Tim Gunn with judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen. This season's winner of Project Runway will receive $100,000 to launch his or her business and a Celebrity Cruises(R) modern luxury vacation for two to almost anywhere in the world. Sally Beauty will supply a year's worth of products and the opportunity to consult with Sally Beauty to create a limited edition "FingerPaints" nail color collection. Travel and hotel accommodations to inspiring destinations around the world will be provided by Best Western International and from Mary Kay, the winner will receive an entire year's worth of beauty products for their fashion shows and professional makeup artist services for their debut show. The winner also receives a 2015 Lexus RC 350 and a complete sewing and crafting studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery. The winning designer and model will also receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine.
Project Runway is produced by The Weinstein Company, Bunim/Murray Productions and Full Picture Entertainment. Executive producers include Bob and Harvey Weinstein (Co�Chairmen of The Weinstein Company) and Patrick Reardon and Barbara Schneeweiss of The Weinstein Company, Jonathan Murray and Sara Rea of Bunim/Murray Productions, Heidi Klum, and Jane Cha and Desiree Gruber of Full Picture Entertainment. Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and David Hillman of Lifetime also executive produce.
