"THE PROFIT" SETS CNBC PRIMETIME RECORD

Most-Watched Original Series Telecast in Network History Among All Key Demos

CNBC was Wednesday Night's #1 Cable Network in Primetime

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. - October 30, 2015 - Last night's all-new episode of "The Profit" following CNBC's "The Republican Presidential Debate: Your Money, Your Vote" averaged 1.9 million total viewers, 820,000 adults 25-54, and 708,000 adults 18-49. It is the most-watched original series telecast in CNBC's history. CNBC was Wednesday night's most-watched cable network among total viewers, adults 25-54, and adults 18-49.

"The Profit" was also Wednesday's #2 original cable series telecast among adults 25-54 (behind American Horror Story).

Among all cable programs (including sports/repeats/acquired programs), "The Profit" was the #6 cable telecast among total viewers and #8 among adults 25-54.

An extended version of "The Profit" premiered following CNBC's Republican Presidential Debate in a special early premiere. The first of thirteen original episodes, the premiere will then air as originally announced on its regular day and time beginning TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 at 10PM ET/PT. Each one-hour episode of "The Profit" follows serial entrepreneur and investor Marcus Lemonis, who puts his own money on the line to help save and grow struggling businesses across the country.

When Marcus Lemonis isn't running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each episode, Lemonis makes an offer that's impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he'll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.

Since "The Profit" first premiered, the Chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises, has invested more than $30 million of his own money in the companies featured on the series.
