5 Original Movies Averaged a 3.2 HH Rating and 3.9 Million Total Viewers
Hallmark Channel's supersized serving of holiday programming over Thanksgiving was a resounding success, making the network the most watched and highest-rated network in Prime Time and Total Day for the entire week (November 23-29, 2015) among W25-54, as well as #2 among household rating (behind ESPN). Last week also became Hallmark Channel's highest week ever among HH rating and delivery as well as all key demographic delivery. Additionally, The 5 new original movie premieres that aired Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29 as part of the network's inaugural Thanksgiving Weekend Event, averaged a 3.2 HH rating and 3.9 million total viewers. The stunt also engaged viewers on social media, with Crown Media Family Networks airing the top five most Tweeted original movie premieres in Prime Time for the week across cable and broadcast.

The Wednesday, November 25th premiere of Once Upon a Holiday debuted to a 2.6 HH rating and 3.1 million total viewers, becoming the 2nd highest-rated program of the day. Additionally, Once Upon a Holiday elevated Hallmark Channel to be the #1 rated network among HHs in Prime Time. In its 8pm time period, the premiere made Hallmark Channel the top-rated and most-watched network among HHs, W25-54 and total viewers.
12 Gifts of Christmas, which premiered on Thanksgiving Day, averaged a 2.5 HH rating and 3.1 million total viewers, claiming the highest-rated and most-watched cable program of the day. In its 8pm time period, the film catapulted Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated and most-watched network among HHs, W18-49, W25-54, A25-54 and total viewers.
The Friday, November 27th premiere of Crown for Christmas drew a 3.5 HH rating and 4.3 million total viewers boosting Hallmark Channel to be the #1 rated cable network in both Prime Time and Total Day among W25-54. During its 8pm premiere, Crown for Christmas elevated Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated and most-watched network among W18-49 and W25-54.
A Christmas Detour secured a 3.9 HH rating and 4.8 million total viewers, becoming the highest-rated and most-watched Hallmark Channel telecast of 2015-to-date. The premiere boosted Hallmark Channel to be the top-rated cable network in Prime Time among HHs and W25-54. In its 8pm debut, the Saturday, November 28th premiere also elevated the network to be #1 among HH, W25-54, and total viewer rating and delivery. Moreover, A Christmas Detour was the #1 Tweeted original movie premiere for the week across broadcast and cable, becoming the network's most social original movie premiere of 2015-to-date among Tweets (12,189) and Unique Authors (2,614).
Rounding out the stunt, the Sunday, November 29th premiere of Angel of Christmas delivered a 2.8 HH rating and 3.3 million total viewers. The debut boosted the network to be the top-rated for the entire day among HHs and W25-54.
The Sunday, November 29th original premiere of The Christmas Note on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries averaged a 1.3 HH rating and 1 million total viewers, becoming the network's 2nd most-watched premiere among HHs, total viewers, and W25-54. Additionally, the program is the network's most-watched original premiere of 2015-to-date as well as the 2nd most-watched original premiere of all time among A25-54 and total viewers.
Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas continues this weekend with the original premiere of Just in Time for Christmas on Saturday, December 5th at 8/7c and Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge on Sunday, December 6th at 8/7c. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas also continues with the original premiere of The Magic Stocking on December 6th at 9/8c.
