Most watched Originals of the season/TVD rises
Last night THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS both rose week to week in total viewers and key demos, with THE ORIGINALS seeing its most watched episode of the season (1.18M).
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES grew by +20% week to week in total viewers (1.32M), and gained in A18-34 (0.5/2), W18-34 (0.8/3), and W18-49 (0.7/2), and held even in A18-49 (0.5/2).
THE ORIGINALS was up by +47% in total viewers over last week, and was up in A18-34 (0.4/2), W18-34 (0.6/2), A18-49 (0.5/2), and W18-49 (0.6/2).
Both THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS are among the most heavily time shifted shows on television, doubling or nearly doubling their Live + Same Day averages when Live + 7 Day delayed viewing is counted. THE VAMPIRE averages a +73% gain in total viewers, +85% in A18-34, and +95% in A18-49, and THE ORIGINALS sees +78% increases in total viewers, +89%in A18-34, and +102% in A18-49.=
