JIMMY FALLON DOMINATES THE RATINGS WEEK OF JAN. 18-22 IN ALL KEY MEASURES; GROWS VS. THE SAME WEEK LAST YEAR

Seth Meyers Equals An Eight-Week High, Outrates Kimmel in 18-49 Despite Starting an Hour Later

Fallon and Meyers Both Grab Their Highest Friday Ratings in 11 Months

Versus The Year-Ago Week, Meyers Is Up +27% in 18-49 and Carson Daly Grows By +33%

NEW YORK - Jan. 28, 2016 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has dominated the late-night ratings week of Jan. 18-22 in every key measure versus CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Pacing "Tonight's" week was a strong Friday telecast as the East Coast was hit by winter storm Jonas. That edition, featuring Jeff Daniels, Lilly Singh and musical guest St. Lucia, earned a 1.21 rating in adults 18-49, "Tonight's" best Friday figure in 11 months (since Feb. 20, 2015, 1.51, the night of an "SNL 40" encore in primetime).

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" also hit an 11-month high for a Friday telecast, with that night's encore (guests Rashida Jones, Khloe Kardashian and Rachel Bloom) earning a 0.62 in adults 18-49 (best for a Friday since another 0.62 on Feb. 20, 2015). The last time a Friday "Late Night" topped last week's 0.62 was Nov. 7, 2014 (0.64 with a rebroadcast featuring Eva Longoria, Rob Riggle and musical guest Hozier).

For the week, Fallon's 1.03 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.705 million viewers overall were five-week highs, best since the week of the "Voice" finale, Dec. 14-18 (1.07 in 18-49, 3.930 million viewers).

Versus the same week last year, Fallon grew +6% in adults 18-49 (1.03 vs. 0.97) and +4% in total viewers (3.705 million vs. 3.571 million).

At 12:35 a.m. ET for the week, "Late Night" (0.52 in 18-49) outrated ABC's Kimmel (0.49), though "Late Night" starts an hour later. The 0.52 matches an eight-week high for "Late Night," equaling its best since the week of Nov. 23-27 (0.62).

Versus the same week last year, Meyers was up +27% in 18-49 (0.52 vs. 0.41) and +21% in total viewers (1.717 million vs. 1.422 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, NBC's rebroadcasts of "Last Call with Carson Daly" generated gains versus the year-ago week of +33% in 18-49 (0.32 vs. 0.24) and +29% in total viewers (974,000 vs. 757,000). The 18-49 rating of a 0.32 is Daly's highest in seven weeks (since a 0.32 in 18-49 for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4) and the 974,000 viewers is an eight-week high (since an average of 1.084 million for the week of Nov. 23-27).
