Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, FOX Split Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/11/16):

ABC (6.964 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T1) and FOX (8.884 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T1) shared in the demo honors as the latter served up a new "American Idol" (8.932 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3) and second "American Idol" (8.837 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3).

The Alphabet then offered up the return of "Grey's Anatomy" (8.230 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2), "Scandal" (6.877 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (5.785 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #7).

Next up was CBS (8.692 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3) and its lineup of "The Big Bang Theory" (15.984 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #1), "Life in Pieces" (9.500 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3), "Mom" (8.085 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #8), a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (6.435 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Elementary" (6.073 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T11).

Meanwhile, NBC (4.888 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) served up originals from "You, Me and the Apocalypse" (2.960 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14), "The Blacklist" (6.317 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Shades of Blue" (5.387 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T11).

And finally, new episodes of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (2.384 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #13) and "The 100" (1.341 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.5, #15) on The CW (1.862 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (8.924 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T2) then was the most-watched network with a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (11.208 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T5), new episodes of "Mom" (10.125 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T5) and "Two and a Half Men" (9.209 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T5) plus another "The Big Bang Theory" (7.671 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T8) repeat and a new "Elementary" (7.666 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #10).

Next up was FOX (6.970 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T2) with fresh installments from "American Idol" (9.506 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T3) and "Backstrom" (4.435 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.556 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) served up the premiere of "The Slap" (5.082 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #12) followed by new episodes of "The Blacklist" (7.980 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T8) and "Allegiance" (3.606 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13).

And finally, originals from "The Vampire Diaries" (1.507 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13) and "Reign" (1.053 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15) closed out the evening on The CW (1.280 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5).
