"HEARTS OF SPRING" ELEVATES HALLMARK CHANNEL TO BE THE #1 HH RATED NETWORK IN SATURDAY PRIME TIME
Network's Most Recent Original Movie Averages a 2.0 HH Rating and 2.2 Million Total Viewers
Hallmark Channel's original movies continue to take the lead on Saturday nights, with the most recent debut, Hearts of Spring, ranking the network to be #1 among HH rating in Saturday Prime Time. The movie garnered a 2.0 HH rating and 2.2 million viewers, becoming the highest-rated program of the day as well as the top-rated movie of the week. In its 9pm debut, the April 9th premiere raised the network to be #1 among HH and Total Viewer rating and #1 among HH delivery.
In Hearts of Spring, starring Lisa Whelchel and Michael Shanks, a famous mom blogger finds herself in an online exchange with an opinionated reader who has conflicting parenting advice. Offline, she finally meets a great single dad and sparks start to fly. When she finds out that they are in fact the same person, her whole world gets turned upside down.
