INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY HAS BEST APRIL EVER IN PRIME DELIVERY & CONTINUES REIGN AS TOP NETWORK FOR WOMEN
Investigation Discovery (ID) celebrated its best April ever in Prime delivery among P2+, HH, P25-54, W25-54 and P18-49, firmly maintaining its position as a top 10 network (#9 slot) in ad-supported cable for Prime YTD delivery of W25-54. Year-to-date, ID saw delivery increases in all key demos in both prime and total day. The network also finished out April as the #2 network for women in total day among all ad-supported cable.
April marks 14 consecutive months of year-over-year Prime delivery growth for P2+, HH and W25-54.
Programming highlights for the month included original series See No Evil (1.303M P2+), Unusual Suspects (1.235M P2+) and On the Case with Paula Zahn (1.215M P2+). In addition, April saw the return of ID's hit series, Disappeared. After a call to action from viewers pressing for new episodes, ID revived its popular missing persons series for a seventh season following a three year hiatus. The season seven premiere on Monday, April 11 was the series' highest delivering premiere ever for P2+ (1.054 million) and HH (886k).
ID also continued its reign as the #1 network for total day length of tune in all of television - cable or broadcast - for both P25-54 and W25-54.
