"SNL" Ranks #1 for the Night in the Metered Markets; "Dateline Mystery" Wins in Total Viewers

"DATELINE MYSTERY" WINS THE 8-10 P.M. SLOT AMONG THE BIG 4 IN TOTAL VIEWERS

In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:

· The May 14 telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host and musical guest Drake, averaged a 3.9 rating, 10 share in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 1.8/9 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

· "Saturday Night Live" ranks as the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in both metered-market households and in 18-49 in the local people meters, ahead of all primetime programs on those nets in both measures.

· "Saturday Night Live" grew +5% versus the show's May 2015 average for originals in metered-market households (3.9 vs 3.7 for May 2015).

· Note that "SNL" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, with originals growing by +49% going from L+SD to L+7 in adults 18-49 (1.86 to 2.77) and +2.127 million persons in total viewers (6.184 million to 8.311 million).

Saturday Primetime Ratings:

"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Wins the time period among the Big 4 in total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54.

· Returning with its first telecast in six weeks, ties for #1 among those nets in men 18-34 and ranks #2 in adults 18-49.

· For its opening hour from 8-9 p.m., ranks #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key measure.

· Increases by +31% from its first half-hour to its fourth in total viewers (from 3.2 million to 4.2 million).

"SNL Vintage" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET, with an encore of the Feb. 18, 2012 telecast of "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Maya Rudolph with musical guest Sleigh Bells):

· Grows +17% from its first half-hour to its second in 18-49 rating (0.6 to 0.7) and is even or up half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, despite the 10 p.m. hour.
