"DATELINE" REPORTS ITS HIGHEST FRIDAY RATINGS SINCE FEBRUARY IN 18-49 & 25-54
Friday Primetime Results:
NBC wins Friday night among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 with the #1 and #2 shows of the night, "Dateline NBC" and a rebroadcast "America's Got Talent," which swept six of six half-hours among those nets in 18-49.
"Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 1.5 in adults 25-54, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demos.
· Hits its highest Friday ratings in adults 18-49 and 25-54 since Feb. 26 (1.2 in 18-49, 1.8 in 25-54), and biggest overall audience since March 25 (4.962 million).
· Grows +22% week to week in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.9 for a 9-11 p.m. telecast on May 27) and +15% in 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3).
· Ranks #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults, men and women 25-54 and other key demos.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the Friday "Dateline" has grown by +33% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.01 to a 1.34) and 1.1 million viewers overall (4.8 million to 5.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· Upscale: "Dateline" delivers a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 110 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes. The prior week's edition was the night's most upscale telecast on the Big 4, indexing at a 111.
An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Ranks as the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, behind only "Dateline NBC."
· Wins the slot among those nets in every key demographic (including a tie in men 18-49).
· Grow +25% versus NBC's 18-49 average in the time period last summer (1.0 vs. 0.8, L+SD non-sports).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
