VERSUS SERIES DEBUT AMONG HHs AND W25-54
Episode Averaged 2.4 HH Rating and Reached 2.5 Million Total Viewers on a Live+3 Basis
New York, August 26 - The second episode of Hallmark Channel's newest original primetime series, "Chesapeake Shores," demonstrated growth in delivery versus episode one, including 2% among HHs and 5% among W25-54 on a Live+3 basis. In addition, the episode's Live+3 performance was up significantly over Live+SD deliveries among W25-54 (42%), HHs (32%) and P2+ (33%).
"It is extremely rare to see new scripted series hold steady from episode one to episode two, much less grow," said Bill Abbott, President & CEO, Crown Media Family Networks. "Given the competitive landscape in which we operate, these results are highly encouraging and we are confident that 'Chesapeake Shores' will continue to resonate with viewers."

"Chesapeake Shores," Abby O'Brien Winters (Meghan Ory) returns to Chesapeake Shores when she receives a panicked phone call from her younger sister Jess, who has renovated the charming Inn at Eagle Point. The Maryland town her father built has many sad memories and Abby, thanks to her demanding career, divorce and young twin daughters, has not had time to spare. Saving the inn from foreclosure means dealing not only with her fractured family but also with Trace Riley (Jesse Metcalfe), the man she left ten years ago. Trace initially poses an obstacle but becomes an unexpected ally and a second chance at finding love.
