SON OF ZORN Delivers Highest-Rated Broadcast Debut Among Men 18-34 in a Year and a Half

FOX's debut of its new critically acclaimed comedy, SON OF ZORN, delivered the highest-rated comedy debut in nearly a year among Adults 18-49 and drew 6.7 million viewers, a +10% gain in 3-day Total Multi-Platform Audience versus Live + Same Day. SON OF ZORN also ranked as the No. 1 entertainment show on Sunday night, as well as the No. 2 entertainment program of the week, behind only "America's Got Talent." It also ranked as the highest-rated broadcast series debut among Men 18-34 in over a year and a half since LAST MAN ON EARTH (3/1/15).

In the next episode of SON OF ZORN, "Defender of Teen Love," airing Sunday, Sept. 25 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Zorn (voiced by Jason Sudeikis) uses the Stone of Sight to spy on Alan's (Johnny Pemberton) crush, Nancy. Meanwhile, Edie (Cheryl Hines) forces Zorn to move his old boxes out of her garage and into his own apartment.

From executive producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller ("The LEGO Movie," "21 Jump Street"), and featuring the voice of Jason Sudeikis (THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, "Horrible Bosses," "We're the Millers"), SON OF ZORN is about a warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean - where everything and everyone is animated - who returns to Orange County, CA, to win back his live-action ex-wife and teenage son.

SON OF ZORN is a production of 20th Century Fox Television. Reed Agnew and Eli Jorné ("Wilfred") co-created and co-wrote the pilot. Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Seth Cohen (THE LAST MAN ON EARTH) executive-produce, alongside Agnew and Jorné. Sally Bradford McKenna ("The Grinder," "The Goldbergs") executive-produces and serves as showrunner. Eric Appel (BROOKLYN NINE-NINE) executive-produces and serves as director.
