Monday's "The Good Place" Is the Week's Top Debut Half-Hour of a New Comedy in Live + 3
NBC further spins the numbers for Monday, September 19.

Monday's 10-10:30 "The Good Place" has grown by +41% in 18-49 (from a 2.57 rating to a 3.62) in 18-49 and more than +3.2 million viewers overall (9.1 million to 12.3 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to "live plus three day" figures. That made it the week's top-rated debut half-hour of a new comedy in 18-49, moving it ahead of CBS's "Kevin Can Wait" (3.30 in L+3), and "The Good Place" is now the top-rated comedy debut in L+3 on the broadcast networks since premiere week last year.

Friday Primetime Ratings:

The season premiere of "Dateline NBC" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 1.4 in adults 25-54, 4.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):

· Is close to rounding up to a 1.0 (currently reporting a 0.942 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

· Grows +38% from its first hour to its second in 18-49 (0.8 to 1.1) and +25% in total viewers (4.1 million to 5.1 million).

· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., ranks #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC, ahead of ABC's "20/20" in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and every other key measure.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - Friday's "Dateline NBC" grew by +32% over the past season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.99 to a 1.31) and more than +1.1 million viewers overall (4.7 million to 5.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

An encore telecast of "Superstore" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):

· Generated additional sampling after scoring on the prior night as Thursday's #2 entertainment telecast in adults 18-49 with a 1.5 rating.

A rebroadcast of "The Good Place" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):

· Retained 100% of its adult 18-49 lead-in from a "Superstore" encore.

· Built on its lead-in in women 18-49 and women 25-54.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2, with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
