NBC Takes Monday as "Timeless" Debuts with a 90% Win Over "Conviction"
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, October 3.

Monday Primetime Ratings:

NBC wins the night in 18-49 and total viewers among the Big 4.

Note that CBS carried NFL football in the Minneapolis market and CW carried the game in New York.

The premiere of "Timeless" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

Wins the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49, beating the debut of ABC's "Conviction" by a +90% margin in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.0).

Also tops the second hour of CBS's two-hour "Scorpion" season premiere in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.7 from 10-11 for "Scorpion," note that CBS ratings are subject to revision due to NFL coverage in the Minneapolis market).

Captures NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the slot with regular programming since Nov. 23, 2015 and biggest overall viewership with regular programs since Nov. 16, 2015.

Also wins the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demos.

"The Voice" (2.9/10 in 18-49, 11.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

Wins the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demos.

Beats "Dancing With the Stars" by a +71% margin in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 1.7 from 8-10 p.m.) and tops "Dancing" in every key measure, including total viewers.

Grows +38% versus what the show was averaging at the end of last season in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.1 during the May sweep) and +17% in total viewers (11.581 million vs. 9.891 million).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last season, Monday's "Voice" grew by +24% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 2.81 to a 3.49) and 2.0 million viewers overall (11.5 million to 13.5 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
