Last night's contest scored a 12.4/22 overnight rating/share according to Nielsen Media Research, the best metered market rating for a World Series Game 3 since 2005's extra-inning game between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros (13.1/23), which aired on a Tuesday night.

Through three games, the 2016 World Series is averaging a 12.1/21 in the metered markets, which is up +25% over last year (vs. 9.7/17), +46% over 2014 (vs. 8.3/14) and ranks as the best average for the World Series since 2009 (vs. 12.7/21).

Cleveland led all markets by delivering a 39.2/60 overnight rating/share with Chicago posting a strong 35.1/57.
