ABC Earns its Most Watched Friday this Season with 20/20 Spiking Over 50% to Season Highs
ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 5.7 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): With its lineup returning to original opposite Fox's college football coverage on the night, ABC was Friday's entertainment leader in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4) with Shark Tank as the #1 entertainment program (1.2/4). The Net delivered its most watched Friday overall this season (5.7 million).
· At 8pm, ABC's Last Man Standing won its half-hour with Adults 18-49 (1.1/5) and returned even after the prior week's preemption.
· At 8:30pm, ABC's Dr. Ken held even with its last telecast 2 weeks ago in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3) and drew its 2nd largest overall audience this season (4.5 million)
· From 9-10pm, ABC's Shark Tank stood as the #1 non-sports program it its slot with Adults 18-49 (1.2/4) and remained even with its most recent original 2 weeks ago.
· At 10pm, ABC's 20/20 shot up by more than 50% week to week in Total Viewers (+54% - 6.3 million vs. 4.1 million), Adults 18-49 (+57% - 1.1/4 vs. 0.7/3) and Adults 25-54 (+70% - 1.7/5 vs. 1.0/3). In fact the ABC newsmagazine earned season highs in Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 25-54, delivering its most watched telecast overall in nearly 10 months - since 2/12/16. 20/20 featured the first interview with Keith Papini, husband of California mom, Sherri Papini, whose disappearance made national headlines after she was missing for three weeks.
