Bucs-Cowboys "SNF" Jumps 31% vs. the Comparable Year-Ago Game to an 8-Year High for Week 15
NBC spins the numbers for Sunday, December 18.

Sunday Primetime Ratings:

NBC Sports coverage of the "Sunday Night Football" game featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Dallas Cowboys averaged a 15.3 rating, 25 share from 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research (not including digital data), making it NBC's second-best Sunday overnight of the season (behind only the 16.5/26 for the previous week's Cowboys-Giants matchup).

It's also the best metered-market rating for a Week 15 NBC "SNF" game in eight years (since Giants-Cowboys in 2008, 15.4/24).

The 15.3 is a +31% jump versus the year-ago Week 15 game (Cardinals-Eagles, 11.7/19).

The Buccaneers-Cowboys "SNF" rating peaked at a 15.9/29 from 11-11:30 p.m. ET.

In these preliminary results, NBC ranks #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key category in the fast-affiliate ratings.
