Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "The Voice" Lead Night of Disruptions

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/28/17):

NBC (8.665 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) was the top draw on a distrupted Tuesday with its mix of "The Voice" (11.279 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1), "NBC News Special" (8.267 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and a repeat "The Wall" (4.630 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

ABC (4.446 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was the silver draw with new episodes of "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.561 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "The Real O'Neals" (3.580 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), "ABC News Special" (5.137 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) and a repeat "American Housewife" (3.122 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #13).

Next up was CBS (6.827 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and a repeat "NCIS" (8.673 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) alongside "CBS News Special" (6.593 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8) and a second run "Kevin Can Wait" (3.841 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.546 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up new episodes of "New Girl" (2.244 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) and "The Mick" (2.489 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) plus "FOX News Special" (2.726 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12).

And finally, a new "The Flash" (2.790 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and an encore of "Riverdale" (0.921 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15) closed out the night on The CW (1.855 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (3/1/16):

NBC (10.150 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday with night two of "The Voice" (12.357 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) season premiere followed by "Decision 2016: Super Tuesday" (5.738 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4).

CBS (10.561 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "NCIS" (15.181 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (11.465 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) plus "CBS News: Campaign 2016" (5.038 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Next up was FOX (2.057 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its lineup of "New Girl" (2.635 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5), "Grandfathered" (2.069 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.879 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "The Grinder" (1.646 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.489 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up a new "The Muppets" (3.133 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6), the season finales of "The Muppets" (2.362 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Marvel's Agent Carter" (2.375 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) plus "ABC News Super Tuesday Election Special" (2.345 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).
