ABC Claims a Network-Leading 7 of the Top 15 Broadcast Series in May and Dominates the Comedy Rankings With 6 of the Top 10 in Adults 18-49

2017 May Sweep (4/27-5/24/17 - 28 Nights Complete - Live + Same Day)

ABC won its 4th consecutive May Sweep in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4), marking its longest winning streak for the month in more than 25 years - predating the start of Nielsen's electronic database in September 1991. During the 2017 May Sweep among Adults 18-49, ABC beat runners-up NBC and CBS by 10% each (1.0/4-tie) and Fox by 38% (0.8/3).

· Highest-Rated Series in the May Sweep: ABC delivered a network-leading 7 of the Top 15 broadcast series during May with Adults 18-49: "The Bachelorette" and "Grey's Anatomy" tied at No. 4, "DWTS" and "Modern Family" tied at No. 8, "The Goldbergs" - No. 11, while "black-ish" and "Scandal" tied at No. 14. In addition, "Grey's" was the No. 2 drama in Adults 18-49 and "DWTS" repeated as May's most watched unscripted series overall, drawing more viewers than both installments of NBC's "The Voice."

· ABC Dominates May's Comedy Rankings: Of the 28 regular comedies that aired during the sweep on broadcast, ABC dominated with 6 of the Top 10 in May: "Modern Family" - No. 2, "The Goldbergs" - No. 3, "black-ish" - No. 5, while "The Middle," "American Housewife" and "Speechless" tied at No. 6.
