Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Coasts to Another Victory

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/20/17):

NBC (10.947 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) cruised to another Tuesday victory with new episodes from "America's Got Talent" (12.548 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "World of Dance" (7.746 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2).

CBS (5.803 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #2) then was a distant second with repeats of "NCIS" (6.517 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3), "Bull" (5.514 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (5.378 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3).

Next up was ABC (2.099 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with a new "Downward Dog" (3.163 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) followed by repeats of "The Middle" (2.158 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), "Black-ish" (1.813 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10), another "Black-ish" (1.902 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), "American Housewife" (1.870 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Fresh Off the Boat" (1.690 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.336 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) served up second runs of "Lethal Weapon" (1.617 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10), "The Mick" (1.093 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.016 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (1.084 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) alongside a new "iZombie" (1.140 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) rounded out the evening for The CW (1.112 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/21/16):

NBC (9.100 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) continued its reign on Tuesday with new episodes of "America's Got Talent" (11.475 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) and "Maya & Marty" (4.351 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2).

ABC (3.784 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was the number two draw with its mix of "The Middle" (3.472 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Black-ish" (2.893 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), "Uncle Buck" (3.669 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), another "Uncle Buck" (3.774 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) and "To Tell the Truth" (4.447 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Next up was CBS (6.330 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with repeats of "NCIS" (6.543 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (5.987 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) followed by the series finale of "Person of Interest" (6.461 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.987 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up originals from "Hotel Hell" (2.625 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Coupled" (1.350 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (1.114 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and a new "Containment" (1.156 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) closed out the evening on The CW (1.135 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).
