Friday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos for Second Straight Week

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/23/17):

NBC (4.371 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) was the demo champ on Friday with its weekly encore of "America's Got Talent" (4.413 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Dateline NBC" (4.289 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2).

ABC (4.165 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then was a tight second with a repeat "Shark Tank" (3.803 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) alongside the return of "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (3.991 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "20/20" (4.702 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1).

Next up was CBS (4.939 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with repeats of "MacGyver" (4.277 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #8), "Hawaii Five-0" (5.040 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and "Blue Bloods" (5.502 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.431 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up second runs of "MasterChef" (1.564 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and "Beat Shazam" (1.299 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

And finally, the season finale of "The Originals" (0.907 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and a repeat "Riverdale" (0.553 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12) on The CW (0.730 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.8/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (4.213 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) was the adults 18-49 victor on a low key Friday with its mix of "Shark Tank" (3.839 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (3.657 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and "20/20" (5.143 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1).
