Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Claims Top Spot with Grammys

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/28/18):

CBS (16.684 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.0, #1) rocketed to the top spot on Sunday with its coverage of the "Grammy Red Carpet Live" (9.960 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) and "The 60th Annual Grammy Awards" (17.645 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.4, #1).

ABC (4.829 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was a distant second with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.172 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), another "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.761 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6) and originals from "Shark Tank" (4.474 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and a second "Shark Tank" (3.908 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Next up was NBC (2.546 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with a new "Dateline NBC" (3.701 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #7) alongside the feature "Neighbors" (1.392 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

And finally, FOX (1.170 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) closed out the night with repeats of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.090 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14), "Bob's Burgers" (0.933 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10), "The Simpsons" (1.309 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), "Ghosted" (1.014 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10), "Family Guy" (1.382 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "LA to Vegas" (1.293 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

CBS (9.162 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) then was the most-watched network with originals from "60 Minutes" (11.430 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (11.192 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Madam Secretary" (8.605 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7) and "Elementary" (5.422 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9).

Next up was ABC (4.386 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) with a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.272 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) followed by a new "To Tell the Truth" (4.737 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5), a second "To Tell the Truth" (4.054 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and the season finale of "Conviction" (2.482 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10).
