Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Continues Win Streak in Both Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/26/18):

CBS (7.962 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) claimed top honors for the ninth consecutive Thursday thanks to its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (11.515 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1), "Young Sheldon" (11.011 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2), "Mom" (8.456 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4), "Life in Pieces" (6.294 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6) and "SWAT" (5.247 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9).

FOX (3.835 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then got a boost from its inaugural coverage of the "2018 NFL Draft - Round 1" (3.835 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5).

Next up was ABC (4.794 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with its mix of "Grey's Anatomy" (6.458 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3), "Station 19" (5.170 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and the return of "Quantico" (2.755 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.122 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up its lineup of "Superstore" (2.848 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10), "AP Bio" (1.766 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11), a repeat "Will & Grace" (1.776 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13), "Champions" (1.528 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) and "Chicago Fire" (5.407 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7).

And finally, fresh installments from "Supernatural" (1.483 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) and "Arrow" (0.913 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16) rounded out the night on The CW (1.198 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (5.081 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) edged out the competition on Thursday with originals from "Grey's Anatomy" (6.884 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2), "Scandal" (5.294 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and "The Catch" (3.066 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

CBS (6.475 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a close second with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (12.098 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1), the Monday-bound "The Great Indoors" (6.450 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5), "Mom" (7.075 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4), "Life in Pieces" (5.494 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6) and "The Amazing Race" (3.867 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

Next up was NBC (4.400 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with a repeat "Superstore" (2.403 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13) followed by new episodes of "Superstore" (2.740 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8), "Chicago Med" (5.790 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7) and "The Blacklist" (4.841 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.073 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up a new "MasterChef Junior" (2.545 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and the season finale of "Kicking & Screaming" (1.602 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13).
