Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Wins with "Sunday Night Football"

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (9/16/18):

NBC (7:30-11pm) (16.442 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.6, #1) coasted to victory on Sunday with its combination of "Football Night in America #1" (5.796 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #7), "Football Night in America #2" (9.792 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.1, #4), "Football Night in America #3" (14.462 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.8, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (18.168 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.2, #1).

CBS (8.377 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) then was a distant second with its mix of "NFL Overrun" (19.915 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.5, #2), "60 Minutes" (11.912 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.6, #5), "Big Brother 20" (6.500 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #6), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.510 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12) and another "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.254 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T18).

Next up was ABC (4.364 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) and its lineup of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.723 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12), "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.009 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8), "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.411 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12) and "To Tell the Truth" (3.315 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T18).
