Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC's "The Voice" Tops Competition in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/25/19):

NBC (7.696 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was back in front on Monday thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (8.932 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) and "The Enemy Within" (5.224 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).

ABC (5.542 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) then was the silver draw with a new "American Idol" (6.354 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and week two of "The Fix" (3.917 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9).

Next up was FOX (5.262 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) with fresh installments from "The Resident" (4.867 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) and "9-1-1" (5.656 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2).

Meanwhile, CBS (4.863 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up its mix of "The Neighborhood" (6.315 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4), "Man with a Plan" (5.340 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Magnum P.I." (5.634 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8) and "The Mueller Report: A Turning Point" (3.126 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).

And finally, a new "Arrow" (1.050 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and a repeat "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.637 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12) closed out the night on The CW (0.843 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (3/26/18):

NBC (8.340 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) continued to hold off the competition on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (10.371 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Good Girls" (4.278 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4).

ABC (8.247 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) then was a very close second with a new "American Idol" (7.677 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2) alongside the season finale of "The Good Doctor" (9.387 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2).

Next up was CBS (4.904 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and its mix of "Kevin Can Wait" (5.678 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5), "Man with a Plan" (5.442 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5), "Superior Donuts" (4.644 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8), "Living Biblically" (3.977 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) and "Scorpion" (4.841 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.685 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) offered up fresh installments from "Lucifer" (3.163 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "The Resident" (4.207 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5).
