Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: "Grey's Anatomy" Finale Tops Demos for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/9/20):

ABC (5.932 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was the network to beat on Thursday thanks to a new "Station 19" (7.510 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), the season finale of "Grey's Anatomy" (7.314 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) and a new "How to Get Away with Murder" (2.972 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

CBS (5.703 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) was the silver draw with a repeat of "Young Sheldon" (6.872 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) followed by new episodes of "Man with a Plan" (6.031 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4), another "Man with a Plan" (5.586 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Broke" (5.220 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Tommy" (5.253 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

Next up was FOX (2.495 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) with a new "Last Man Standing" (4.066 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) alongside repeats of "Last Man Standing" (2.610 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12) and "Mental Samurai" (1.651 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.362 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) offered up a repeat "Superstore" (2.661 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12), new episodes of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.121 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Will & Grace" (2.673 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Indebted" (1.409 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16) plus a repeat "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.653 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14).

CBS (5.430 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then had to settle for second with repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.995 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2), "Young Sheldon" (6.761 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2), another "The Big Bang Theory" (6.131 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), the season finale of "Fam" (4.941 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #7) and a repeat "SWAT" (3.875 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore delayed by a Masters report; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/4 with an encore delayed by a Masters report. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore delayed by a Masters report.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
