Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "WWE SmackDown" Pushes FOX in Front

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/12/20):

FOX (2.016 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) pulled into the top demo spot on Friday thanks to "WWE SmackDown" (2.016 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1).

CBS (3.943 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) was the most-watched network with its repeat mix of "MacGyver" (3.840 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2), "Magnum P.I." (4.051 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (3.939 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8).

Next up was ABC (3.090 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) with second runs of "Shark Tank" (3.028 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "20/20" (3.121 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2).

NBC (2.176 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) likewise opted for repeats of "World of Dance" (2.063 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8), "The Wall" (1.974 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "Dateline NBC" (2.493 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2).

And finally, a new "Masters of Illusion" (0.777 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) led into repeats of "Masters of Illusion" (0.619 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.616 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) and another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.662 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) on The CW (0.668 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5).

Next up was FOX (2.291 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #3) with its primetime coverage of the "U.S. Open Championship: Second Round" (2.291 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.561 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) offered up a new "Whistleblower" (3.345 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6) alongside repeats of "Hawaii Five-0" (3.246 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6) and "Blue Bloods" (4.093 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
