Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: Repeats Keep NBC on Top

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/22/20):

NBC (3.634 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T1) held onto the top spot on Wednesday with repeats of "Chicago Med" (3.563 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2), "Chicago Fire" (3.576 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "Chicago PD" (3.764 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2).

ABC (2.035 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T1) shared in the demo honors with a new "United We Fall" (3.703 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) followed by repeats of "The Goldbergs" (2.159 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2), "The Conners" (2.090 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "American Housewife" (1.666 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) plus a new "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (1.297 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

Next up was CBS (2.497 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) with a new "Tough as Nails" (3.493 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2), the season finale of "Game On!" (2.278 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and a repeat "SEAL Team" (1.719 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.261 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) offered up a repeat "MasterChef" (1.383 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and a new "Ultimate Tag" (1.139 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

And finally, The CW (0.386 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) opted for a repeat "The 100" (0.484 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14) and a new "Bulletproof" (0.288 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.0, #15).

CBS (2.756 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) and FOX (2.571 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) then shared in the demo honors as the latter offered up originals from "MasterChef" (3.147 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) and "First Responders Live" (1.995 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

The Eye served up its mix of "Love Island" (2.314 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), "Big Brother 21" (3.820 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) and a repeat "SWAT" (2.135 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.482 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) opted for repeats of "Ellen's Game of Games" (3.362 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) and "Songland" (1.933 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) plus a new "The InBetween" (2.152 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11).

And finally, a repeat "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.157 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) and a new "Jane the Virgin" (1.065 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) combined to close out the night on The CW (1.111 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).
