Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Originals Hold Onto Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/30/20):

ABC (2.713 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) took home the demo honors on Thursday with originals from "Holey Moley" (2.915 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2), "Don't" (2.309 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) and "To Tell the Truth" (2.913 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2).

CBS (3.166 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) then was the most-watched network with its mix of "Young Sheldon" (4.388 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1), "The Unicorn" (3.042 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), "Mom" (3.292 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), another "Mom" (2.979 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (2.648 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4).

Next up was FOX (1.958 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and the Thursday debut of its "MLB on FOX" (1.958 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) coverage.

Meanwhile, NBC (2.175 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) offered up repeats of "Ellen's Game of Games" (2.403 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.784 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) and another "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.338 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11).

And finally, a new "Killer Camp" (0.520 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) and a rebroadcast of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.544 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) on The CW (0.532 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) rounded out the night.

FOX (2.877 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) then was the silver draw with fresh installments from "MasterChef" (3.319 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) and "Spin the Wheel" (2.435 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

Next up was CBS (2.868 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its trio of "Love Island" (2.405 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6), "Big Brother 21" (3.781 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and "Elementary" (2.416 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.358 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) served up originals from "Holey Moley" (3.242 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5), "Family Food Fight" (1.847 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #8) and "Reef Break" (1.985 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

And finally, the series finale of "iZombie" (0.801 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) and a new "The Outpost" (0.652 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) rounded out the evening on The CW (0.727 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," delayed by an NFL overrun; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," delayed by an NFL overrun; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," delayed by an NFL overrun; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.8/3. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, 18-49 averages were: "Late Night," delayed by an NFL overrun; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., an encore "Last Call with Carson Daly" was delayed by an NFL overrun.
