Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/9/21):

ABC (4.537 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1) held onto the demo crown on Sunday with its trio of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.310 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2), "American Idol" (5.030 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) and "The Rookie" (3.777 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2).

CBS (6.134 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) took home the silver with its quartet of "60 Minutes" (7.245 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5), "The Equalizer" (6.936 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (5.462 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (4.891 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).
