Jimmy Fallon Has Now Finished First in 18-49 for the Last Four Weeks
NEW YORK - Oct. 5, 2021 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" was #1 in the 18-49 demo for the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 1 versus "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and Jimmy Kimmel Live" and has finished first over the last four weeks.
"The Tonight Show" earned an 0.26 in the demo and 1.5 million viewers, a second-place finish in the latter category. "Late Show" (0.24) and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.17) were second and third, respectively, in 18-49.
The Wednesday, Sept. 29 telecast of "The Tonight Show," with Maluma, Michael Gandolfini and musical guest Givēon, was the highest-rated telecast of the week (0.32) among the three late-night competitors.
At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Seth Meyers" delivered an 0.16 in 18-49, winning the week in both the demo and total viewers. The 18-49 rating is the show's best performance for a non-NFL week since February.
