Airing from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023 - Part 1" was the No. 1 entertainment program in the 2-hour time slot in both Total Viewers (5.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.4/10).

Head-to-head from 8:00-10:00 p.m., Part 1 more than doubled New Year's Eve programming on CBS (+133% - 1.4/10 vs. 0.6/4 for "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash") and more than tripled NYE programming on NBC (+250% - 1.4/10 vs. 0.4/3 for "Toast to 2022") among Adults 18-49.

Part 1 outdrew CBS' "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" by 33% in Total Viewers from 8:00-10:00 p.m (5.2 million vs. 3.9 million) and dominated NBC's "Toast to 2022" by triple digits (+117% - 5.2 million vs. 2.4 million).

"Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023 - Part 2" (10:30-11:30 p.m. - 7.9 million and 2.2/15 in AD18-49):

ABC's "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023 - Part 2" tied the highest-rated entertainment telecast on any night on any network in primetime since March among Adults 18-49 (2.2/15) - since ABC's presentation of "The Oscars(R)" on 3/27/22.

Part 2 of ABC's "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" was the evening's No. 1 entertainment program in primetime in both Total Viewers (7.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.2/15).

Part 2 outdelivered its nearest competition on the night in primetime (NBC's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" from 10:30 p.m.- 12:30 a.m.) by 49% in Total Viewers (7.9 million vs. 5.3 million) and by 47% among Adults 18-49 (2.2/15 vs. 1.5/10).

Airing from 11:30 p.m.-12:36 a.m., the first late-night segment of ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" attracted 13.7 million Total Viewers and averaged 4.1/29 among Adults 18-49. ABC's annual New Year's Eve special drew in 17.8 million Total Viewers and hit a 5.3 Adult 18-49 rating in the midnight quarter-hour.

Part 1 ranked as the No. 1 entertainment program on New Year's Eve in Adults 18-49 (4.1/29), more than doubling NBC's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" (+173% - 1.5/10 from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.) and more than tripling CBS' "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" (+242% - 1.2/8 from 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.). In fact, ABC beat the combined deliveries of NBC and CBS by 52% among Adults 18-49 (4.1/29 vs. 2.7/18 for "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" and "Nashville's Big Bash"). Part 1 of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" was also the No. 1 entertainment program of the evening in Total Viewers (13.7 million).

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" stood as the evening's No. 1 most social program across all of TV (2,544,320 total social interactions) and was the No. 1 driver of social video views on the night (4,573,124 total video views).
