ABC News' State of the Union Coverage Ranks as the No. 1 Program in Primetime in Total Viewers Among Broadcast Networks
The ABC News special coverage of the 2023 State of the Union address (9:09-10:20 p.m. EST) averaged 4.405 million Total Viewers, 1.075 million Adults 25-54 and 791,000 Adults 18-49, ranking No. 1 among the broadcast networks, leading CBS (9:09-10:21 p.m. EST - 3.637 million, 708,000 and 529,000, respectively), NBC (9:09-10:21 p.m. EST - 3.778 million, 1.002 million and 784,000, respectively) and FOX (9:00-11:01 p.m. EST - 1.656 million, 509,000 and 362,000, respectively).
The ABC News special coverage of the 2023 State of the Union address stood as Tuesday's No. 1 non-sports telecast in primetime in all of broadcast and cable in Adults 25-54 (1.075 million) and Adults 18-49 (791,000). In addition, ABC News' State of the Union address ranked No. 1 program in primetime in Total Viewers (4.405 million) among the broadcast networks.
