ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 ACROSS THE BOARD FOR THIRD WEEK IN A ROW AND POSTS DOUBLE-DIGIT GAINS YEAR TO YEAR IN ALL KEY DEMOS FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

Season to Date, 'Nightline' Scores Largest Overall Audience in Over 4 Years

For the First Time in 10 Years, 'Nightline' Is No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 Versus CBS and NBC

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (965,000), Adults 25-54 (266,000) and Adults 18-49 (174,000) for the week of Nov. 27, 2023, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" took the top spot, beating CBS' "Comics Unleashed" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" across the board for the 3rd consecutive week.

For the second week in a row, "Nightline" delivered double-digit increases year to year in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+33% - 965,000 vs. 725,000), Adults 25-54 (+54% - 266,000 vs. 173,000) and Adults 18-49 (+61% - 174,000 vs. 108,000).

Season to date, and for the first time ever in the 10 years in its time period, "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 versus CBS and NBC. In addition, "Nightline" is growing versus the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+12% - 989,000 vs. 885,000), Adults 25-54 (+13% - 251,000 vs. 222,000) and Adults 18-49 (+8% - 168,000 vs. 156,000), posting its largest overall audience in 4 years - since the 2019-2020 season.

This week "Nightline" covered updates on the Israel-Hamas war; a wave of lawsuits filed by victims alleging prior sexual abuse due to an expiring New York sex abuse law; Henry Kissinger's death; "One Girl, One Bullet," the staggering number of children killed by gun violence; a special tribute to Sandra Day O'Connor; the passing of former first lady Rosalynn Carter; "The Golden Bachelor"'s finale; George Santos' expulsion from Congress; Young Thug's criminal trial; "Impact x Nightline"'s deep dive into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumored romance and more.

NOTE: For the week, NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Late Night with Seth Meyers-SM" due to being repeats. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the season averages.
