ABC NEWS' SPECIAL COVERAGE OF THE 2024 STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS AND SUPER TUESDAY WINS IN TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL BROADCAST TELEVISION

ABC News' State of the Union Address Coverage Grows +14% Year to Year and Wins Total Viewers for 3rd Year Straight

ABC News Live's State of the Union Coverage Doubles Viewership and Grows +60% in Hours Streamed Year to Year

ABC News' special coverage of the 2024 State of the Union address (9:26-10:33 p.m. EST), anchored by "World News Tonight" anchor and managing editor David Muir and featuring ABC News' powerhouse political team, ranks No. 1 among the broadcast networks in Total Viewers (5.024 million), leading NBC (9:26-10:32 p.m. EST - 4.329 million), CBS (9:26-10:33 p.m. EST - 3.935 million), and FOX (9:00-11:11 p.m. EST- 1.715 million).

ABC News' coverage of the State of the Union address was up +14% from the prior year in Total Viewers. This is ABC News' third consecutive year ranking as the No. 1 broadcast network in Total Viewers for State of the Union coverage.

This follows the ABC News special coverage "Super Tuesday: Your Voice Your Vote 2024" (10:00 - 11:00 p.m. EST), which ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.849 million) among the broadcast networks, leading "NBC News Decision 2024 Super Tuesday" (1.714 million) by 135,000 and "CBS News: America Decides: Super Tuesday" (1.498 million) by 351,000.

ABC News Live's State of the Union coverage throughout the day, led by "Prime" anchor Linsey Davis, doubled viewership and grew +60% in hours streamed versus the 2023 State of the Union.
