'ROCK THE BLOCK' SEASON PREMIERE DELIVERS TRIPLE-DIGIT
RATINGS GAINS FOR HGTV ON MONDAY, MARCH 4
New York [March 11, 2024] A new season of HGTV's hit competition series Rock the Block delivered a solid ratings performance for the network when it premiered on Monday, March 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, garnering a .53 live plus three-day rating among P25-54. The episode, which attracted 3.9 million total viewers, posted an impressive 104 percent lift from the prior six-week average and a 66 percent increase over year-ago levels. It also performed well among multiple key demos, ranking as the #2 overall cable program among Upscale Women 25-54 and the #3 non-news/sports cable program among Upscale Adults 25-54.
Hosted by popular carpenter, craftsman and design expert Ty Pennington (Battle on the Beach), the new season of Rock the Block features four returning teams battling for redemption as they compete to add the most value to waterfront homes in Treasure Island, Florida. The pressure is at an all-time high as the HGTV powerhouse duos face-off in an epic renovation showdown to settle old scores and achieve victory - winning bragging rights and a street named in their honor. Participating network stars this season include: Bryan and Sarah Baeumler (Battle on the Beach); Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block); Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis (Unsellable Houses); and Page Turner and Mitch Glew (Fix My Flip).
