Netflix Top 10 Week of Aug. 19: "The Union" and "Emily in Paris" Hold on to Top Spots

Top 10 Week of Aug. 19: 'The Union' and 'Emily in Paris' Hold On to Top Spots

Two screen legends, two weeks at #1 on the English Films List - Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg's action-packed comedy The Union continued to dominate with 40.6M views, ranking #1 in 83 countries and reaching the Top 10 in 93. To add to the excitement, gentle readers will be positively delighted to hear that the 'Queen of Her Own Stunts,' none other than Ms. Berry has developed a particular fondness for none other than our beloved Bridgerton. Perhaps she also indulges in those iconic Bridgerton snacks.

While Wahlberg and Berry were engaged in a high-octane chase, Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 1 kept it 'very demure, very mindful' while maintaining the top spot on the English TV List for a second week with 14.9M views. Fans kept the series très en vogue as Season 1 of the romantic comedy rose to #7 (2.2M views) and Season 3 to #8 (2.1M views). Created by Darren Star and featuring the fabulous Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Lucien Laviscount, the series says "Ciao Bella!" as Emily embarks on an unforgettable Roman holiday in Part 2, premiering September 12. Prepare for la dolce vita!

Fans looking for a parrrrrrrrtyyyyyy they'll never forget, turned to raunchy comedy Incoming, directed by It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia writers and high school comedy aficionados Dave and John Chernin. The film debuted at #2 (9.9M views). Also crashing the list debut party was the action-thriller from Nigeria Tòkunbò at #6 (4.9M views).

Matt Rife: Lucid - A Crowd Work Special kept the laughs coming for another week, taking #10 (1.9M views)

Romantic comedy I Can't Live Without You (Argentina) rose to claim #1 on the Non-English Films List with 5M views. Indian titles took up four spots on the list this week including sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD at #2 (4.5M views), thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba at #6 (1.5M views), revenge-drama Maharaja at #8 (1.1M views) and action-adventure drama, Indian 2 at #9 (1.1M views). Returning to the list were the action-comedy Mission: Cross (Korea) at #4 (2.6M views) and emotional drama Lolo and the Kid (Korea) at #5 (2.2M views). List debuts included comedy Nice Girls (France) at #3 (4.30M views) and action anime Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos (Japan) at #10 (.8M views). Still swimming the Seine in its 12th week, shark thriller Under Paris (France) locked its jaws on the #7 spot (1.2M views).

Debuting in the top spot on the Non-English TV List this week was emotional thriller The Accident (Mexico) with 10.4M views. Korean titles took four spots on the list this week including charming drama Love Next Door at #2 (3M views), psychological thriller The Frog which debuted at #4 (2M views), romantic drama Romance in the House at #5 (1.8M views) and reality dating series I am Solo at #8 (.9M views).
