'20/20' Grows Year to Year in Total Viewers and Shows Week-to-Week Increases Across the Board, Hitting Season Highs in Both Key Adults Demos

Season to Date, '20/20' Leads 'Dateline' in Total Viewers

ABC News' "20/20: Driven to Death" averaged 2.658 million Total Viewers, 439,000 Adults 25-54 and 281,000 Adults 18-49 on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data+Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

· For the second time in the three weeks, "20/20" outdelivered NBC's "Dateline" in Total Viewers (+34%/+673,000 - 2.658 million vs. 1.985 million), Adults 25-54 (+31%/+103,000 - 439,000 vs. 336,000) and Adults 18-49 (+22%/+50,000 - 281,000 vs. 231,000) to rank as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine across the board.

· "20/20" grew from its corresponding telecast last year in Total Viewers (+9% -2.658 million vs. 2.432 million on 10/11/24).

· "20/20" posted week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (+3% - 2.658 million vs. 2.580 million), Adults 25-54 (+43% - 439,000 vs. 307,000) and Adults 18-49 (+32% - 281,000 vs. 213,000), hitting season highs in both key Adults demos. In addition, "20/20" posted its best Adults 25-54 in more than 4 months - since 5/30/25.

· Season to date, "20/20" leads "Dateline" in Total Viewers (+17%/+465,000 - 3.257 million vs. 2.792 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
