(from Starz's press release, March 2026) STARZ has announced the U.S. premiere date for the limited series "Amadeus," a bold adaptation of Peter Shaffer's 1979 award-winning play, on Friday, May 8. Starring Emmy(R) Award nominees Will Sharpe ("Too Much," "White Lotus") as musical prodigy Wolfgang 'Amadeus' Mozart, and Paul Bettany ("A Very British Scandal," "Wandavision") as envious court composer Antonio Salieri, the spectacular five-part reimagination offers a symphony of genius, rivalry and vengeance as classical music's most fascinating relationship is explored. New episodes will be available to stream in the U.S. weekly on Fridays only on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. |
