DESCRIPTION:
(from History's press release, November 2011) The wait is over. Pawn Stars and American Pickers are back! The two phenomenally popular series, key components in establishing HISTORY as television's #1 non-fiction entertainment network, return with all-new episodes beginning Monday, November 28. The Harrison family, whose Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas has gained worldwide fame in Pawn Stars, and Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the antique archeologists of American Pickers, have only begun to scratch the surface when it comes to spotting offbeat, valuable and historically significant treasures - which they buy and then sell for profits. The new season of weekly premieres, running into 2012, will continue to cement their reputations not just as masters in their trade, but also as charismatic stars unlike any other on the TV landscape today. The return episode of American Pickers - chronicling Mike and Frank's unending search for "rusty gold" - airs on Monday, November 28 at 9pm ET. Pawn Stars - showcasing three generations of savvy buyers and sellers: Richard Harrison (aka Old Man), son Rick, grandson Corey, along with Corey's childhood sidekick, Chumlee - follows with two new episodes premiering at 10 and 10:30 pm ET. |
